Scholarships

Because of a small (though generous) grant from Pacific Rim Recycling in Benecia, the Northern California Recycling Association is able to once again offer free admission to our annual RECYCLING UPDATE conference to all eligible students in high schools, as well as community and four year colleges and universities in Northern California. Up to 100 students are eligible for these appointments. All students will join in the lunch without charge and transportation assistance will be available on a case-by-case basis, mostly reserved for out-of-town guests. Please e-mail event coordinator, Arthur "Robin" Boone for more information and include the subject line: RU Scholarship Inquiry. Please include your name, contact phone number, your school or university name and location, and any other information you feel we have in considering your request.

Volunteers

Those who may be unable to afford the registration costs may receive a scholarship to the day's events in exchange for some volunteer efforts at the event. Please e-mail us to volunteer or for more information and include the subject line: RU Volunteer Inquiry. Please include your name, contact phone number and any specific areas you would like to assist with (registration, food & beverage, set-up, tear-down, etc.) in your email.
